
Besides dance instructor, I have been a certified personal trainer for the last 7 years. I specialize in helping people move without pain whether the pain is caused by an injury, overuse or when it has become chronic. I have a passion for helping people build a positive relationship with movement. I believe movement should be truly healing down to the way that it makes us feel, not torturous to the point where we have to limit ourselves or ignore how we feel. Although there is a natural overuse that comes with age, this doesn't mean that we can't use the power of mobility and strength training to feel the best possible. During the 30 minutes + session we will talk about your experience, habits and your lifestyle in order to arrive at a conclusion that informs us about the enviornmental factors affecting you.
Besides our chat, I will also take you through a movement assestment that includes moves like squat and planks.
